Goal of the project:
The goal of the project is to create a new practically useful
rule-based database technology in order to make easy XML-based
integration of different databases in several application domains.

Results of the project:
1. The first version of logic-based rule languages RCL and RQL
2. Rule-server integrated to SQL server via XML-based interface
3. A pilot application project in Sampo Baltic Asset Management Ltd: portfolio
management system
4. The second improved version of rule-server intergrated with PostgreSQL
database system
5. A pilot technology for synthesis of web services for Cell Networks Ltd
based on X-road web services examples
Xstone/rql: a minimal web service server extended with business-rule
system
