ABSTRACT. A necessary and sufficient condition is obtained for multipliers
of generalized Lipschitz classes in certain Banach spaces. The majorant of the
modulus of continuity is supposed to be slowly decreasing. For the one-
dimensional periodic case the result was known earlier /3/.
