ABSTRACT. The report consists of explanation note in Estonian on 107 pages,
including 35 illustrations, 3 tables and appendixes. In the report an
application package for designing gear drive in software system NUT is
represented. The package is meant for design-engineers for calculation of
parameters of a gear drive. On the basis of input data the following stages of
design are carried out: calculation of necessary data for selection of electric
motor; calculation of data of input and output shafts; calculation data of
straight, helical and herringbone (double-helical) gear drives and checking
data. The designed package considerably increases the effectiveness of the work
of design-engineers freeing them of routine calculations.
